The second round of the Augusta Masters is officially in the books, and moving day is upon us! As we warned yesterday, the dreaded Friday cut line took no prisoners, causing massive swings and heartbreaking penalties across the Kerins O'Rahillys Masters Challenge leaderboard.
Action at Augusta: The Highs and Lows
Out on the course, Rory McIlroy is putting on an absolute masterclass, tearing up the field to sit at a phenomenal -12. He is closely followed by Sam Burns and Patrick Reed, who are both delivering huge points for their backers by sitting at a superb -6.
A strong chasing pack is hovering at -5, including Justin Rose, Tommy Fleetwood, and Ireland's Shane Lowry. Meanwhile, tournament favorite Scottie Scheffler and young star Ludvig Aberg are both sitting level at Even Par (0).
However, Friday at Augusta was a nightmare for several big names, and their collapse has completely blown up many of our Challenge entries. The dreaded 10-shot penalty for missing the cut was applied to anyone who didn't survive to see the weekend.
