U10 Boys
Kerins O’Rahillys’ U10 boys enjoyed a memorable day in Dublin on Sunday, 20 September, with both teams reaching semi-finals at St Jude’s U10 Mini All-Ireland.
Players, coaches and families set off from Strand Road at 8.15am and arrived shortly after midday. Before the football began at 2pm, the boys joined the parade from the clubhouse to the pitches, with a fireworks display and Amhrán na bhFiann marking the occasion.
One team competed in the Conor Connelly Cup and won five games against opposition from Monaghan, Meath, Dublin and Kildare before losing to Blackhall Gaels in the semi-final. The second team played six games in the Mick Fallon Cup, meeting opponents including St Vincent’s, Rathoath, Portlaoise and Ballyboden before their run ended against hosts St Jude’s at the same stage.
There was plenty to be proud of in the football and in the way the boys represented the club. Thank you to the coaches for their time and work with the teams, and to the parents, grandparents and siblings who travelled to support them. Thanks also to St Jude’s for the invitation and a wonderfully organised tournament, and to Ryalls Coaches for the journey.

U12 Boys
Our U12 boys also rounded off their season with a visit to Churchill on Thursday, 17 September. Both teams produced strong performances, giving the group a positive finish to a season of hard work together.
Afterwards, the boys were treated to food and drinks at Charlie’s Bar and Bistro. A sincere thank you to Margaret and Sean for their generosity, and to Churchill for hosting. The coaches were particularly pleased with the boys’ behaviour throughout the season and the friendships built within the group.

U16 Boys
There was further good news on Monday, 21 September, when our U16 boys defeated St Pat’s Blennerville/Castlegregory 4-25 to 1-10 at Strand Road in the Tralee/St Brendan’s District Championship Shield semi-final, earning a place in the final.
